Lamaze International ... Lamaze has changed childbirth for millions of families through the dedicated efforts of professional childbirth educators, providers and parents, since its founding as a nonprofit association in 1960. 
    Seacoast Midwives ...  provide prenatal care, labor and delivery and gynecological care.  We will be happy to do yearly check ups and are able to provide care to women throughout their life cycle, including adolescence, peri-menopausal and menopausal care.
 
PositiveBirth ... This is a group of doulas in England.  They have a good website with lots of good information.
DONA International ... With more than 5,500 birth and postpartum doula members and growing, we are the largest doula association in the world. We support doulas by providing quality training and meaningful certification. We serve mothers and families by providing access to information and research about doulas, childbirth and the postpartum experience. "

Childbirth Connection ... "Childbirth Connection, formerly Maternity Center Association, is a not-for-profit organization that has worked to improve maternity care for mothers, babies and families since 1918.  We promote safe, effective, and satisfying evidence-based maternity care. Evidence-based maternity care means using the best research about the safety and effectiveness of specific tests, treatments, and interventions to help you make informed decisions."

Coalition for Improvement of Maternity Services ... "Established in 1996, the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services (CIMS) is a collaborative effort of numerous individuals and more than 50 organizations representing over 90,000 members. Our mission is to promote a wellness model of maternity care that will improve birth outcomes and substantially reduce costs."

BellyWomen ... Belly Women believes strongly in equal access to prenatal and postpartum care for all women. The site was created primarily to help connect pregnant women with free doulas and labor assistants.
ONE - Make Poverty History ... "ONE is a new effort by Americans to rally Americans – ONE by ONE – to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty. ONE is students and ministers, punk rockers and NASCAR moms, Americans of all beliefs and every walk of life, united as ONE to help make poverty history. ONE believes that allocating an additional ONE percent of the U.S. budget toward providing basic needs like health, education, clean water and food would transform the futures and hopes of an entire generation in the world's poorest countries."

La Leche League ... La Leche League was founded to give information and encouragement, mainly through personal help, to all mothers who want to breastfeed their babies. While complementing the care of the physician and other health care professionals, it recognizes the unique importance of one mother helping another to perceive the needs of her child and to learn the best means of fulfilling those needs. 
Postpartum Support International (PSI) was founded in 1987 by Jane Honikman and currently headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA. The purpose of the organization is to increase awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that women experience during pregnancy and postpartum. Approximately 15% of all women will experience postpartum depression following the birth of a child. Up to 10% will experience depression or anxiety during pregnancy. When the mental health of the mother is compromised, it affects the entire family.
 
The Coastal Family Birth Retreat is New Hampshire Seacoast's first free-standing Birth Center. We offer birth center services as well as homebirth services.

Our two birth suites are fully equipped and nicely furnished, each with its own heated birth pool. The CFBR also offers a birth pool as rental for homebirth clients.

Prasada in the ancient sanskrit language means "tranquility" or "brightness".  At Prasada Yoga Center, we believe tranquility comes from the empowerment a strong body and a peaceful mind will bring to the individual.
