Lamaze has changed childbirth for millions of families through

La Leche
League ... La
Leche League was founded to give information and encouragement,
mainly through personal help, to all mothers who want to
breastfeed their babies. While complementing the care of the
physician and other health care professionals, it recognizes the
unique importance of one mother helping another to perceive the
needs of her child and to learn the best means of fulfilling
those needs. |

Postpartum
Support International (PSI) was founded in 1987 by Jane
Honikman and currently headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA. The
purpose of the organization is to increase awareness among
public and professional communities about the emotional changes
that women experience during pregnancy and
postpartum. Approximately 15% of all women will experience
postpartum depression following the birth of a child. Up to 10%
will experience depression or anxiety during pregnancy. When the
mental health of the mother is compromised, it affects the
entire family.

The
Coastal Family Birth Retreat is New Hampshire
Seacoast's first free-standing Birth Center. We offer
birth center services as well as homebirth services.
Our two birth suites are fully equipped and nicely
furnished, each with its own heated birth pool. The CFBR
also offers a birth pool as rental for homebirth
clients.

Prasada in the ancient sanskrit language means "tranquility"
or "brightness". At Prasada Yoga Center, we believe tranquility
comes from the empowerment a strong body and a peaceful mind
will bring to the individual.
